Book Sale – Whangamatā Community Library, 4 June

The Lions Club are certainly fulfilling their motto of ‘We Serve’ this weekend. Not only are they holding a giant art sale in the Whitianga but they will also host a big book sales in Whangamatā, with all proceeds ear-marked for community projects.

Katie Boyle in Pat Goldsack’s Swingers Club and Brothel Play, Hauraki House Coromandel Town, 5 June

A hilarious play about 87-year-old Patricia Goldsack, known as Pat to her friends and lovers has toured New Zealand for the last six decades with her touring swingers club and brothel.

Live Music from Jaedon Gascoigne at The Dunes Matarangi, 5 June

Live music is back at the Dunes on Sunday with a performance by Jaedon Gascoigne from lunchtime onwards. You can also take in some of the fabulous artwork adorning the walls from some fabulous local artists including Michael D Smither, Erica Lyons and many more. It’s all for sale via the Bread and Butter Gallery.
