Following the success of this years Chasing Mercury Art Workshops in March, we are pleased to announce that we will be running the Chasing Mercury Winter Arts Workshops between the 13th and 16th July which will run alongside the Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday 13th July at the Whitianga Town Hall.
Two of our artists will be hosting this winter. Wendy Walls is a professional mixed media artist residing in Whitianga, New Zealand. She paints both abstract and realistic subjects in vibrant colour and rich texture.
Ian Preece is a professional photographer living in Kuaotunu. Ian's photography workshops, Seascape Photographic Adventures, teach people how to free their creative eye through the use of a camera. He is accredited by the Royal Photographic Society.
