Funding of between $10,00 and $40,000 is available for multi-song projects – which includes an up to $4,000 (10%) Artist Creation Fee.

New Tracks is a compilation of new music from New Zealand artists which is distributed to broadcast and online platforms each month.

New Music For Kids Funding Opportunity
Funding of between $2,500 and $10,000 is available for new music for children, depending on the scope of the project.

New Music Pasifika Funding Opportunity
Funding of up to $10,000 is available for artists of Pacific background, for a single song- which can now include a $1,000 (10%) Artist Creation Fee.
Deadline: Thursday 24th March 2022
Waiata Reo Maori (Maori Language Music) Funding Opportunity
Funding is available for the recording and promotion (including aligned video assets) of waiata containing more than 50% Te Reo Maori, that are original and have not been released before.

Nga tuapapa rereke Mixed-platform
Te Mangai Paho provides contestable, nga tuapapa rereke funding for producers and creators to create a diverse range of Maori content. Mixed-platform is our way of describing the wide variety of kaupapa.
