Ebony Lamb & Gram Antler

The Monkey House Theatre, Whitianga.

Sat Oct 10th, 2020

Think Coromandel Gig Guide & Creative Mercury Bay are thrilled to be welcoming Ebony Lamb to the Monkey House Theatre in Whitianga. She will be performing alongside her Eb & Sparrow band member Gram Antler, bringing us a night to be remembered!

Opening for Ebony & Gram will be the mesmerising Whangamata musician Morgan Keating-Marr.

Honey voiced singer songwriter Ebony Lamb is an act not to be missed, having earned an enviable reputation amongst her contemporaries, critics and music fans alike. Ebony is a New Zealand singer and songwriter with a deeply unique voice, garnering attention across the country from city bars to folk clubs, festivals to house concerts.

She has released three critically acclaimed studio albums with her band Eb & Sparrow and is currently working on a much anticipated debut solo record to be released in 2020. Ebony Lamb delivers contemporary alt-country to a whole new level. Her increasingly diverse sound sits somewhere between Nina Simone and Gillian Welch with a glimmering of Catpower.

She’s opened for the cream of New Zealand music and international acts alike from Tami Neilson, Marlon Williams, Aldous Harding, Tiny Ruins, Delaney Davidson, Barry Saunders, Anika Moa, Nadia Reid, Beth Orton, Pokey La Farge, Rodriguez + many more.

Doors Open 7pm. Music will start at 7.30pm. Cash bar sponsored by our local Blue Fridge Brewery & Purangi Vineyards. Snacks available. Standing room and seating available.
