"Anyone listening to RNZ Easter Monday about 11.45am will have heard my friend of 30 years NZ Poet Laureate David Eggleton.  We paid our dues in a Dunedin “street theatre” group Axolotl in the early 80s, as fellow poets.  This was a masterful broadcast of fine work and skilful writing" - Steve Thomas, Arts On Tour NZ General Manager
