Everybody loves the sunshine but here’s some art for when it’s raining.
It’s now open from Saturday to Monday from 10am to 2pm. Six local artists are enjoying being seen and using the gallery. Occasionally they work as a group at the gallery and are happy for visitors to see what they are creating.
Two Railwaymen, Driving Creek, Coromandel Town
Two Railwaymen is a show including work from Barry Brickell (RIP) and Kelvin Hynes. The pictures are beautifully hung and lighted. It is so lovely to be in that gallery – it hasn’t really been used since Barry died, and it is wonderful to have his work hanging on the walls again.
The Little Gallery showcases local Coromandel and New Zealand artists in art galleries located in Tairua and Whangamata – two of the best beach towns in New Zealand! We are enormously proud of the artists we represent, and our little galleries. Pop in and take a look for yourself. They’re currently looking for a passionate gallery assistant to join their friendly team.
