Coromandel Town Representative
A key aspect of Warwick’s artistic activity throughout his life is music, both instrumental and choral. He has a passion for early music (pre-1800) and has for many years played in early music ensembles. With a background in singing and conducting he has directed several choirs, taught music in schools and enjoyed performing in amateur theatrical productions. He and his wife moved to Coromandel permanently in 2018, after a close association with the Peninsula for over 40 years. They are actively involved as kaitiaki on their bush property and are dedicated organic food growers. Warwick has a business background in the retail music industry and established and ran a large music school in Hawkes Bay. In the visual arts, Warwick is a keen photographer and a trained, qualified conservation art framer. He joined the Creative Coromandel team as a Coromandel representative and enjoys assisting in developing the strength of the arts – and particularly the performing arts – on the Peninsula.
