TAKE TIME OUT FOR YOURSELF…
- Enjoy a guided morning walk in the forest.
- Browse around the shops and cafe’s in Whangamata, go for a beach walk, swim, or rest under a shady tree.
- Feel nurtured in the afternoon journaling and painting experience.
Optional guided walk:
The walk is in the beautiful Wentworth Valley, near Whangamata.
Meet at 9.30 at the Southpacific Conference Centre to go in convoy to the valley, not too far away. The walk to the falls takes a little over an hour. It’s a great place to see tui and fantail, and in the summer there’s always the chance of taking a dip in the river to cool off. Access to the walk starts from DOC’s Wentworth Valley Campground at the end of the Wentworth Valley Road.
