Heritage Art Workshops

Thames School of Mines, 101 Cochrane St, Thames

Discover transportation in the 19th century.

 

Horse-drawn, steam-driven, wind or pedal powered.  Wellington artist Barry Thomas and son Max (fine arts graduate), take you through the process from crushing clay to creating individual artworks.

 

Five one day workshops

Mon 11- Fri 15 March 9.30am-2.30pm daily

Classes of up to 20 children @ $5 each

 

2 evening workshops

Tuesday 12 & Thursday 14 March 2019 7pm-9pm

Maximum 12 adults @ $10 each

Art Exhibition

Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 March 11am-3pm

Selected artwork completed at the workshops will be exhibited during the Thames Heritage Weekend 2019
