'Dharma' Art Show

The Back Room, Lotus Realm, Thames

12th December 2018 - Sunday 20th January 2019

The Dharma Art exhibition features the work of 15 artists. It is diverse in all ways.

In terms of mediums you will find represented here: paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolour, mixed media and collage, photography, etchings on paper and glass, assemblage, shallow relief, sculpture in cement and bronze resin, fibre art, screenprinting.

There is also a diversity of art technique and experience, and a diversity in the spiritual vision and experience of the artists.

'Dharma' can mean 'Universal Law' or 'Truth' (eg impermanence, or compassion) or it can refer to the actual elements of spiritual practice, the 'way' that individuals travel along.

The Opening of the exhibition was a lively gathering, and the Back Room space has been transformed into a very nice-looking Gallery space. Many of the works are for sale and will be on display until mid-January.

Please pop in and enjoy a viewing when you are next visiting Grahamstown, Thames.
