Caren Squire

Caren’s arts background is in classical music, playing violin and piano mainly, and dabbling a little with flute, oboe and guitar. The high point of her musical experience was leading the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra more years ago than she cares to remember!  Caren now sings in the Mercury Bay Community Choir and plays piano and violin for her own enjoyment. Caren and her husband run a bookkeeping and small business support service in Whitianga and currently look after Treasury for several not-for-profit organisations in the wider Mercury Bay area.  She sees that their contribution helps these organisations deliver their invaluable services to the community; it is their way of 'giving back' as they appreciate how fortunate we all are to live in such a fabulous part of the country.
