New Zealand Painting and Printing Award
Regarded as one of the country’s most prestigious art awards, the New Zealand Painting and Printing award has a $20,000 main prize up for grabs.

2022 Artist in Residence Opportunity
Each year Auckland City Council select an artist to live and work in an Auckland regional park. The Artist in Residence creates new work influenced in some way by the park, which is shared with the public.
This year, the regional park is Waitekere Ranges Regional Park.
Deadline: Friday 18th February (must be received via post)
The NZ Art Show is a large-scale exhibition: all artists are allocated their own space including an artist name sign.
All art is sold through the NZ Art Show: artists receive payment, minus commission, after the show.
Deadline: Monday 28th February
Giant Avocado Sculpture Opportunity Katikati
Katikati has more recently been recognised as New Zealand’s Avocado Capital, an addition to Katikati’s rich history and worthy of celebration. To celebrate, they are commissioning a giant avocado sculpture.
