As we are all doing our best to manage through the lockdowns and uncertainty of the Covid-19 era, we would like to say a huge thank you to the Creative Community Scheme (Thames-Coromandel District Council) for awarding funding to support our regional events and local creatives.
Congratulations to everyone who applied. The panel was delighted with the number of entries, receiving 16 applications requesting over $600,000. It’s a huge accomplishment to apply for grants of this scale. We have watched many local creatives struggle to balance their creative practices whilst putting bread on the table during these challenging times. Given the quality and range of applications, the panel decided to support the eight events, including the fabulous creative festivals below – a true triumph. We can’t wait for these awesome events.
