I am in love with nature and am happiest when in, on or near water. Living by the sea provides an endless source of inspiration for my work.

Water activities related to the sea including swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, fishing, and surfing influence my work. I create art jewellery using found objects, stones and gems set in precious and non-precious metals which provide a reminder or connection to the sea for the wearer.

Currently, I am beginning to incorporate metal etching techniques in the exploration of themes of navigation and vessels in this anniversary year of Cook’s landing in Mercury Bay.
