Business Details

Jeanne-Marie has been painting watercolour for many years, her style is "loose representational". What she loves about this challenging medium is its transparency and the fact a subject can be treated in different ways but never the same.

In 2012 she has created and lead the Thames Parawai Watercolour group for several years.

She holds solo and joint exhibitions and has been successful with National, Regional and Local awards.

Jeanne-Marie has self-published a booklet "French Cooking in New Zealand" in which she has written the recipes and provided the illustrations.

Her watercolours can be seen at Thames Society of Arts Gallery in Thames and at her Studio-gallery in Thames.

Jeanne-Marie organises occasional classes and workshops in Thames and Coromandel Peninsula. Her tuition covers composition, tone values, colours, transparency and the methods to achieve a painting with enthusiasm in a relaxed ambiance. Jeanne-Marie shares her tips and experience.
