Gallery 6 was created in December 2021 in Coromandel Town. Now two years on it is part of the town fabric. Beautifully presented and a great display space, with principle artists Diann Cade, Donna Scatchard, Fran Campbell Vaughan Udall and Raewyn Penrose all local artists who enjoy sharing their work and meeting the visitors.
Each artist has their own style which provides a wide range of works both large and small. Diann and Donna use acrylic while Fran and Vaughan use mixed media. Raewyn is a fibre and felt artist.
The gallery space is ever changing as new works appear and the display is regularly rearranged.
The gallery is attended by one of the artists every day that it is open. They enjoy the interaction with the visitors, valuing the comments they receive about their work and its of even greater value when someone says “I love that!” and buy. The artists celebrate!
You will also find ceramics and craft items of other local makers, plus cards, prints and books.
