Thames Art Gallery have 2 featured artists in February - Leigh Matthew & Jan Linklater.
Leigh is a local clay artist and wood carver; he works mostly from his home in Tararu and is an active member of the gallery’s pottery group. Leigh’s talent for carving is exceptional, he explores shapes and lines with a Celtic and Pacific influence, creating unique and intricate works.
Jan enjoys using colour to create vibrancy and infuse energy into her works
Jan draws inspiration from the environment for her landscapes and her portraits are the result of convincing family members to sit for her!
