Harcourts ART Challenge 2026

The Harcourts ART Challenge and Big Arts Day Out celebrates artists from the Coromandel, Waikato & Bay of Plenty, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression through the theme "North East South West". The Challenge attracts a diverse mix of artists bringing their unique interpretations to the theme. From captivating paintings to thought-provoking sculptures and edgy contemporary installations, audiences can expect a feast for the senses in this inspiring showcase of talent on display and for sale.   Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th January 10am to 4pm . Tickets to the Award/prize giving evening and an opportunity to mix & mingle with the artists on Friday 23rd January 5pm to 8pm, are available from Discover Whangamata.
