These workshops follow a 4-week cycle where we focus on taking a project from start to finish. These sessions are a chance for me to share what I know, and for us to build a small community that meets over clay.
Beginners are very welcome - and if you've worked with clay before, there's always more to explore.
Kaupapa
The aim for these workshops is make them accessible for people in our Coromandel community to learn ceramic skills and follow a project from start to finish.
In our small community it can be really easy to become isolated, and spaces like these can be a regular touch stone for people, building community while doing something really cool and creative together.
My favourite part of teaching is seeing what people create (Wow! Folk have so much untapped talent) and also seeing the spark light up in people, when they realise how magic they truly are.
