Ashley Thor & Genevieve Morley Collaboration Exhibition

Ashley Thor and Genevieve Morley's exhibition named 'Collaboration' features in the CR Exhibit Space in Coromandel Town from the 26 December - 8 January 2025, opening night is the 26th December at 4pm, wine and cheese, all welcome!

They bring together an eclectic arrangement of recent work. Thor particularly favouring a loud and brilliant blue glaze and Morley presenting a range of smaller original pieces conveying her typical moody landscape scenes focusing on "love, memories of the past and flower daydreams of a tropical summer".

Both Ashley Thor and Genevieve Morley started their creative endeavours at a young age. Thor has been involved in ceramics since 8 years old.  Thor is exploring with his current body of work a further simplification of form and art.  He has been a long standing member of the creative Coromandel community as he started in the late 1970s doing a three year residency working alongside Barry Brickell at Driving Creek Railway before further studying and practicing the art of pottery and ceramics.
