5-Day Production Throwing Course

This workshop is taught by our lead production potter Callum Trudgeon. A maxim of 5 students keeps your group small, close-knit and provides more direct tuition with your tutor.   The Driving Creek pottery classes run from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day. Day 1 starts at 9:30am. The course covers:

• Throwing with set weights and sizes.
• Exercise to improve throwing speed.
• Designing your own forms.
• Throwing to a gauge.
• Turning and finishing, pulling and attaching handles

Clay is included and we provide tools. You are welcome to bring your own tools if you prefer. Course price includes glazing and firing of 5 pieces. You are welcome to take any greenware with you. * Accommodation is not available on site or included in the price.
