There is nothing I do that is more rewarding than making domestic stoneware pottery from our unique Coromandel clay.

I specialise in working with high-fired stoneware clay, which is dug and processed, from our property at Whenuakite. I make mainly sensible domestic ware and I try to capture colours in my glazes of variant blues, greens, reds and white that surround us in springtime through to autumn.

I like the fact that, because my pots are fired to 1300 degrees centigrade, they are extremely durable and are pieces of art that can be used and appreciated everyday.
