Creative Mercury Bay is pleased to present The Tuia Stage. A free, cultural showcase of Coromandel's best musicians, poets, and storytellers held on two stages, over 12 hours.

 

More than 140 performers of all ages will present compositions of music, poetry or stories that reflect their expressions of the kaupapa of Tuia - Encounters 250 - the 250th anniversary of the first meetings between Maori and European when HM Bark Endeavour sailed into Te Whanganui o Hei waters in 1769.
