The Lonely Heartstring Band

Kauaeranga Hall, 437 Kauaeranga Valley Rd, Thames

Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January 2019

Following their sold-out tour in 2018 The Lonely Heartstring Band, a multi-talented Bluegrass quintet return to Kauaeranga Hall on both Saturday and Sunday of Anniversary weekend. Last year’s performance was sold-out to a standing-room only audience at Kauaeranga Hall. This year they are performing on two days – Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Nourished by deep roots in traditional American music, The Lonely Heartstring Band combine soulful instrumental virtuosity with soaring three-part harmonies. Their repertoire of original songs and compositions showcases not only their considerable talents, but a dedication to meaningful roots-conscious music. They deliver a dynamic, diverse, and heartfelt performance that generates a genuine connection and bring crowds to their feet.

In 2018 for this band we crammed 125 people into the Kauaeranga Hall and had to turn many, many people away. We will sell no more than 85 seats for each show.
